Sally: Thanks Chuck! Today’s Topic is: The 2022 YumYum Market Festival!

Harry: When you taste something really really great! You have to say “Yummy Yummy Yum-Yum-Yum!”

Sally: This year’s YumYum Market Festival is an immersive bilingual event, hosted by the Kaohsiung City Government, in collaboration with the NDC and the General Association of Chinese Culture.

Chuck: Word two: ‘Immersive’ Ginger.

Ginger: It’s when something’s been made to be all around you. So at this festival I guess there’ll be English words everywhere!

Chuck: Correct! One point each. Sally?

Sally: With bilingual signage, English-speaking guided tours, and even a treasure hunt-themed interactive game, this immersive event offers language students a practical, social way to study, with none of the stress of exams and results!

Harry: Lots of museums are interactive now. They have things you can hold and touch and play with … it makes learning more fun!
