Xiluo was a significant town of Taiwan inland water-land transportation in the past, yet Xiluo has become an important place of soy sauce production nowadays. Aside the Zhuoshui River, Xiluo Old Street has experienced every ups and downs. Now, the street is covered with the fragrance of soy, and old Baroque-like buildings scatter around, which provides the local and travellers with a trace of the nostalgia.
