Host: A sum of money offered by Taiwan’s Tourism Bureau to encourage people to vacation in one of Taiwan’s many excellent hotels

Voice: Why?

Host: To reinvigorate the country’s Covid-hit tourism industry, and to help those who cannot or do not want to vacation abroad

Voice: When?

Host: Originally set to start in September, subsidies will now be made available from July 15th to December 15th.

Voice: Who?

Host: This offer is only available to Taiwanese citizens, travelers must register with their national identification card to apply

Voice: Where?

Host: Applicable in hotels all over Taiwan, with some offering higher subsidy packages than others as further incentives
