Host: ‘WorldSkills’ is an organization for promoting vocational trades. They run this biennial contest for professionals all over the world

Host: Technical education students compete in a huge range of skills … everything from beauty therapy, to welding, to 3D digital game art!
Voice: Why?
Host: To showcase the advantages of learning a trade or vocational skill, and to promote an easy exchange of ideas internationally.
Voice: When?
Host: ‘WorldSkills’ was founded after World War Two, to encourage new employment opportunities for young people.
Voice: Where?
Host: Thousands of competitors took part in 62 skills contests, held in 26 cities across 15 countries and regions around the globe
Voice: Who?
Host: Taiwan won 42 medals! They came 3rd overall, taking home 6 gold, 13 silver, and 6 bronze medals, as well as 17 medallions for excellence!
